This week

This week has just been a crazy long week but we were both so excited about Saturday because we went on a Date. It was lots of fun! We went to The Olive Garden which is always yummie. After dinner we went to Fat Cats to play some pool. It was way fun. We haven't played since our second date, so that was like 20 months ago. Well he took me down. I only had one win and it was because he hit the eight ball in. Woo hooo..... I am not very good but one day I will take him out. We might get a pool table when we're rich and that will be lots of fun. Anyways, after we played a few games we decided that we would give bowling a try since we have never gone together. It was way fun and I had mad skills for once. I won the first game. It was a great night I love going out with Daniel Spenser Vogel. He is always a lot of fun.
On Sunday we went to Ihop with Daniels mom. It was lots of fun and after we went to go see the house. It was lots of fun to see what they had done over the week. It seems like they do so much in just one week. Every time we go up I am always shocked on how much they have done.

2nd time at the house

So we went to go see the house this Sunday not knowing really how much farther they had gotten. When we got there we were so shocked to see how much they had done. It was amazing! We walked all over the house like four different times. We were just so excited and we took lots of pictures. So here is what has happened in the last week. It's been pretty crazy.
Okay well Dan and I have been kind of looking at houses but not to go buy one right at this moment at least that is what we had thought. So Daniel has a website that sends him emails when new houses hit the market and last Friday he got one that looked really promising. So over the weekend we went to check it out. It looked really nice so when we came home we talked to Dan's mom about it and we noticed that it was in foreclosure. Sandy thought since it was such a good deal and it was in foreclosure that we should try to make a move on it fast. So on Sunday we thought about it and tried to figure out what we could do. We decided that we would try for it so on Monday Sandy called her real estate agent Dean. Dean agreed that it looked like a really good deal and encouraged us to move fast.

Tuesday was a crazy day. Daniel and I were both working so Sandy was trying to help figure things out. We hadn't even had a chance to walk through the house so Sandy and Dean offered to check it out for us. Luckily Daniel was able to get away from work for a while and he went with them. They all really liked it and thought it was a great deal so we decided to try for it. Unfortunately since it was a foreclosure we had to move extremely fast. In order to place an offer on the house, we were required to have the underwriting for the loan completely finished and show proof of the down payment. Daniel and I met with a lendor that works with Dean's firm as soon as he got back from looking at the house. We spent about an hour with him and then we met with Dean to sign paper work and make our offer. A few hours later, the lendor approved us and Sandy was nice enough to lend us the money for the down payment until we are able to get the tax credit back. Unfortunately, at this point there had already been five other offers made on the house so we didn't know what to think about our chances. So with that in mind, we decided to look at some other houses just in case we weren't accepted for this one.

We found a house that looked really nice and happened to be just a couple blocks away from the one we made an offer on. We went to check it out and after thirty minutes of driving around in circles, we couldn't find it. The next day we asked Dean to check on it and see what the deal was. He found out that it wasn't actually built which is why we couldn't find it. Daniel and I talked about it and decided that this might be a better option for us than the house we were originally looking at. We went with Dean to see a model house that would be similar to ours when it was finished and we both really liked it. We decided on thursday that we were going to make an offer on this new house. Since we already had our financing ready to go it was pretty easy. We met with Dean and the agent for the seller and signed the paper work to put in our offer. We waited anxiously the next day to hear if our offer was excepted. That afternoon, Daniel text me saying that he had good news. I knew that it was about the house and that they must have accepted our offer! We were both really excited and we're looking forward to moving in. Hopefully we will be moving sometime in June.

Anyway, we went to take some pictures of the house in progress as well as a model home that should look almost the same as ours when it's finished. So here they are, enjoy:

So lets see there is a lot that I need to catch up on. So stay with me while I tell you what has happened over the last few months.

December.

Dan turned 24 on December 2nd of 2009. We went to olive garden with his parents to celebrate the big day. His mom got him headlights for the mustang and a gift card to olive garden. I got him a gift for his birthday and Christmas but it was a radiator for the mustang and also some nicer shirts for him to wear. That weekend I took Daniel out to breakfast, a movie, and dinner for his birthday. It was lots of fun. I love spending time with him it's always lots of fun and he knows how to put a smile on my face.

Christmas

It was really exciting for Christmas this year. Not only was it a nice wonderful time of the year but we also both had people from our family down. Keith was down on my side of the family and Joe and Tiff were down on Dan's side. Sad to say Maren and Ryan did not make it, but we are hoping for them to be down for this Christmas so that we can see their cute new baby girl Lucy, but it was still lots of fun. Christmas eve we went out and spent some time with my family. We had pizza (which Dan and I love) and just talked and spent time with the family. After we left there we went down to Dan's family's house. It was lots of fun to see his family and just relax and spend some quality family time. That night we went back to Dan's house and decided to play some DM. Joe and Tiff were really excited to get taken down by me and Dan. Sad to say, I did not win all the games, but I did put up a good fight.

Christmas morning Daniel made patty cakes for breakfast which was amazing. Then we decided to open up the presents. Sofi was way cute and was super excited for all her gifts she got. Dan spoiled me like he always does. He got me the 6 season of one tree hill, some shirts and skirts, an iTunes gift card, a puppy, a stuffed one but still way cute, a photo album, I can't think of what else, I just know lots of stuff. It was lots of fun and it was sad to see the time go by so fast, but we will hopefully see them all soon.

My b-day! Yes the big 21. Some people thought the day would never come but boy were they wrong. It was a good birthday Dan was very sweet to me and did lots to make the night a great night. Then he made the weekend after my birthday really nice.

January came and went. Lots of working out to get in shape for the summer. We work out 4 days a week and keep to that. We don't miss a day. Dan is looking amazing and keeps getting better.

Fast forward to February. I knew that this month would be a good month but also a very stressful time with work, but we made through it. For V-day Dan took me to lunch which was very nice of him. He always is way good to me and makes holidays and special occasions really amazing. After I was done with work Dan came and picked me up and took me to his house. When we walked in, he had on the kitchen table a plate of cookies, The time travelers wife, M&M's with our names and faces on them, a cute teddy bear, and an amazing bqt of roses with gerbs. He had also written a wonderful sweet card for me. We weren't hungry just yet so we decided to put our name on the waiting list because it was going to be a long wait and then go walk around for a bit. It was a wonderful night and I had lots of fun.

The next weekend was our 18 month anny. and Dan had something planned and I just didn't know it yet. All he would say is if I would pick what we did during the week he would pick for the weekend, which I was not going to disagree with. I don't like to decide what we do so I thought that was an awesome deal. On Thursday he asked me to see if I could get off early on Friday and told me I needed to pack a bag for two nights. I was really excited and curious about what we were going to do. Friday came and I was so excited to find out what was going on. The day felt like it took forever to end but it did thank goodness. Dan came and picked me up and we were off, to where I did not know. We had lots of fun talking in the car and listening to music. I kept guessing where we were going and I had it down to St. George and Las Vegas. St. George came and went so I figured it must be Vegas but I wasn't positive. We had finally hit Vegas and I was just waiting for us to get off on one of the exits but they came and went. We were at the very end of the strip when I had figured out what hotel we were staying at. It was the hotel we stayed at the very first time we took a trip together. I thought that was so sweet of him to take us there. When we got to the hotel we were both so tired so we got the key to the room and just crashed.

The next morning we went to Ihop and it was very delicious. Dan still wouldn't really tell me what we were doing that day, all he did was tell me what we were going to do at that moment. So we got done with breakfast and, because we have been doing so well on working out he didn't want us to miss a day, so we went down to the gym at the hotel and Dan ran 3 miles, which was way good. I didn't do so well but at least we worked out. We went to the pool right after and so I decided to swim some laps so I did something at least. After we were done in there we ran over to the hot tub which was so warm and so nice. I could have stayed there for a while. I enjoyed just laughing and talking to Dan in there. It was very relaxing. When we were getting out Dan told me that we needed to get all dressed up because he was taking me out, but he wouldn't tell me where. So we got all pretty and were on the road. He was taking me to this cute little place that we went to the last time we were there, but they were closed which didn't go so well with what Dan had planned. He figured he better tell me what was going on because the plans had to be changed around. He told me he was taking me to the Phantom of the Opera, which is my all time favorite. I was so excited because I've been wanting to see that again for a while. It was so amazing and we had amazing seats. It was like you were there in the action. It was so amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it and so did Dan. After that we went over to the Cheesecake Factory. It was really good and I liked the drink we had, although, I can't remember what it was called, I just know it was really good. After dinner, Dan wanted to walk over and go on the eiffel tower. I had never been on it or even on that side of the strip so I was all for it. When we got there and were about to go up, I started freaking out and wanting not to go up. I was about ready to walk off when Dan convinced me that it would be worth it and lots of fun. He was so sweet to me the whole way up holding me and telling me everything will be just fine. We got up there and he was right, it was so pretty up there and you could see everything. We walked over to a place where no one was at and he started talking to me and telling me how he wanted to spend his life with me and that he loved me so much. I was like yeah I love you too why are you saying all these sweet things? Right after that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. If you didn't know I said yes. How could I not? He's the best guy ever. He's got it all: The personality, looks, smile and all. He's my dream guy. It was so much fun. It was the best night. We came home Sunday and waiting for us was a lovely dinner that his Dad & mom made for us to celebrate the great news. It was lots of fun and I was super happy.

Well I think I have said all that I can think of that has happened but, just so everyone will know what is going on with us right now, it is March going on April. We have been really busy with work and working out. We have been doing really well for the last 4 months and have been staying strong. It is not always easy to work out because we've just had a long day of work and all we want to do is relax but Dan is really good and keeps us going even when I am being difficult. It has been worth it. Dan looks great he has lost 20 pounds and is still working out hard. He looks really good with his big strong arms and his flat stomach. He looked great before but he is just getting a little better so that he is happy with how he looks. I am working out hard also I can now run 5 miles, which I never thought I would be able to do. Dan is wanting to do a 5k this year. I think it would be lots of fun. I will let you know if we decide to do it. I will also have lots of picture to show that we did. Well thats all I can think of right now. I will try to do better at keeping you all updated. Thanks for sticking with us.

Super exciting

So I have been trying to find where Joe and Tiff's blog spot was. I have been looking all over and today I had sat down and was just kind of looking on here at different peoples pages and oh my goodness there it was right in my face saying hi this is tiff and joes blog want to look at us. It might not have said it like that but pretty close. It was so exciting that I couldn't help but say ha in your face blog spot I have figured you out!!!! You got nothing on me now.. (Ain't no stopping me now yay) I know I may sound crazy and I probably am. But it makes life more exciting.. Thank you thank you. I will be here all week. I also hope to sit down with Dan and write about what has happened in our life together over the last few months.

I am sorry I haven't been on for a long time. I will be getting on tonight with dan to tell you all about our last few exciting months. Lot's of exciting things to tell and you will find out soon! : )
